Investing In Progress
Advancements in clinical outcomes can only follow research and academic progress. Hence in keeping with our interest in education and training in liver surgery, TLF hopes to invest in supporting such enterprise with dedicated data managers who prospectively collect data on patients who have had liver surgery or transplantation. This dataset we hope will allow us in the future to analyze trends, complications and results in order to improve future clinical care. We will also try to publish peer-reviewed scientific papers on liver disease and its treatment. Recently we helped to publish a technical report on an innovation in pediatric liver transplantation and acute liver failure.
